UPDATE: Cicily, as she goes by now is 20 years old and just finished her first year of college. She's so bright and loves math so studying economics and statistics is right up her ally. Cicily worked hard in high school and earned a spot at the Maasai Mara University, one of the best universities in Kenya. We're so proud of the young lady she's becoming and how hard she has worked, taking advantage of the opportunity sponsorship has given her. She has loved her life at Seed's and is very grateful. ORIGINAL STORY: Sicilia is nine years old and has no living parents. She lives with her aunt and uncle and tells us just how much of a struggle it is for clothing and food. When asked if she would rather live with her aunt and uncle or live in the orphanage, she tells us she would prefer the orphanage because her aunt and uncle do not pay attention to her needs. Sicilia has just one outfit and is often hungry. Her aunt and uncle leave her to fend for herself on most days. Little Sicilia is so soft spoken but has an amazing sparkle in her eyes. She wants to be around "happy children" so that she can play with them.
