Esther! Many of us that have traveled to Seed's over the last five years have fallen in love with Esther. She has been in the care of Seed's Ministries for about nine years. She was found by our partners on the streets of Kitale at age three. Her mom passed away when she was three and her father was very sick with HIV/AIDS. There were six children and no income. Their father begged for food in the streets of Kitale and was not able to provide at all for his family. All the kids went to living on the streets do whatever they needed to in order to survive. That's when Esther was found, hungry and dirty. Over the years she has thrived at Seed's. She is now in the 6th grade and a very focused student. She loves her life at there and is very grateful for the second chance for a life with meaning.
Esther was sponsored in the beginning but has not had a sponsor for some time. Our partners asked if we could help change that by finding her a special family in the US to come along side her.
