Meet Felix... he's only 9 years old and has been through so much loss. Both of his parents passed several years ago and has been living with his elderly grandmother in the slum. Grandma has become very ill and for the last several months it's been up to him and his siblings to provide for themselves. Many days they end up picking through trash and begging for food from the neighbors to survive. Sometimes his older sister is able to get a little work helping as a laborer but things have gotten almost impossible for them.
The local Children's office in Kitale has contacted our partners at Seed's and asked them to please help... so they have reached out to Mighty Acorn to help find a sponsor so Felix can find a way into a better life. One that will allow him to go to school and have his basic needs met.
