Meshark is quiet but always smiling- and such a handsome smile at that! He is the twin brother to Paris, and part of a family with eleven children. Their older sister, Selvine, has been living in the orphanage for the past five years, and expressed to our partners that she was concerned about the well-being of some of her other siblings, Meshark included. Some time ago, their father left their mother due to the pressure of taking care of such a large family. This left her to try and provide for everyone on their own. She would spend all day in the forest collecting firewood to sell, earning only pennies for a long day's work. It was never enough to clothe, feed or send her children to school. She recently has lost hope and has turned to a life of begging, leaving her children to fend for themselves. Their clothes are tattered and torn, their stomachs are empty, and it appears they haven't been able to bathe for weeks. They have not attended school for some time now and desperately wish to be able to learn and be in a safe environment. Meshark may be little, but he has big dreams. He just needs the opportunity to accomplish them, and someone who will walk alongside him and believe in him!
