Patrick his situation in the Kipsongo Slum became so desperate that for four hours he walked, and some how found his way to Seed's Children's home. We really don't know how he knew where to go it's not an easy place to find tucked in off the main roads back among some farms. He showed amazing determination for an 11 year old, as he arrived with tears in his eyes to a place he knew was filled with hope and love. See his little brother lives there already Gordon.
In the slum he lived with is mom, several months ago his father abandoned the family, no longer wanting the responsibility, one day he just disappeared and hasn't been seen since. His mom has done the best she can but food and basic needs have been hard to come by.
So Patrick is already at the children's home being cared for now we need someone to come along side him, to connect with him letting him know he matters and his life counts. We need a sponsor to help provide him with the ability to stay in this safe place of hope he was so determined to be at that he risked everything to get there. He is a very bright 5th grader and has so much promise.
