UPDATED STORY: Silvia has grown up healthy and safe at Seed's Children's home. She is now 17 and a 12th grader at Seed's High School. Recently when we visited she shared how thankful she was to be picked to be sponsored and have a way to make her life better. She loves school and hopes to go to law school after she graduates. ORIGINAL STORY: Silvia is a sweet seven year old and is the younger sister of Susan. She wants to be a teacher someday and enjoys mathematics the most in school. Just like her older sister Susan, her biggest fear is that her mother will run out on the two of them, leaving them alone and without anything. Silvia's smile lights up the room but she also has sadness and depression in her eyes and has trouble making eye contact with any of us.
