Vivian, the 13 years she has lived have been filled with so much pain, pain that would tear apart the very soul of someone 4 times her age. Her mom passed away at a very young age and she never new who her father was. Left to fend for herself a while then she was taken in by a family that had 3 of their own children. These new parents tried to help but the couldn't protect her from the men of the slum and she has suffered horrible things living in that lawless place.
Last year we were contacted to help find a sponsor for one of the children in that family Deborah she is Vivian's stepsister. Deborah was sponsored quickly and moved into Seed's Children's Home. We were not aware of Vivian's situation until recently, our hearts just broke when we realized all that she has been through. Her need for a sponsor, a safe haven to call home, for healing in every way imaginable is so great. We are so thankful for our sponsor who sponsors Deborah and met Vivian in the slum while visiting Kipsongo it was her heart to try and help that brought the depth of her situation to light. Now Vivian will be able to attend school receive counseling and know there are people that love her and want the very best for her!
