Sharon is eight years old and is the younger sister of Faith. She is in third grade and, like Faith, lives with her Uncle a couple of hours away from Kitale. She hopes that she can lead a better life and, as she describes, "have a humble time" so she can perform well in school. She is unable to talk about her parents and about life with her uncle. She can only whisper that she never has enough food to eat. She hopes that her sister can move with her to the orphanage some day so that she can begin to perform well in school and not have to worry about having enough food to eat or a safe place to sleep.
